Thank you for being so patient and understanding. I want to apologize again. I will let you know if they do show up or not at all tomorrow. Could you explain the retail method to me? I've never heard of it/done this method. If anything I'll video record the entire trade to see that it goes correctly, haha. But you don't need to pay them back. Everyone rest well.

Putting an random item for sale in retail say 500k, and the other guy buys it for the trade. But the bells won't show up in your ABD till the next day.

Hey guys.I'm very new to this tbt bells thing.I have no clue how it works.But when I tap "currency" on the top of the screen, It shows 1,400.I really don't need them.I would be happy to share them if that helps at all.I would just need to figure out how to do it.lol.I'm a total noob.

You don't have to be so kind ^^; what I usually do is I click on another person's tbt bells under their name, and a popup will show. This person will receive it (whoever's bells you have clicked on). It will say transfer in the drop down box. It lets you add a message and the amount.

Glad you got the issue resolved even though you're both down on bells. As a tip, in future make sure to save the game as soon as a transaction is completed before the other person heads for the train. This way if errors do occur (and I've had them occur while waiting on the train too) then no one will risk losing anything.

Thanks ^^ So far my options are to see if Penny still wants to trade the bells, as she offered earlier. If not, I completely understand and I am okay with that. Lafiel kindly offered to help me get my tbt bells back by gifting the next day ^^; I would like to say thank you very much. If Penny decides to redo the bell transaction, I will return Lafiel's tbts. Next time though I am going to record the trading session in case this issue arises a second time. I was paying tbt bells for bushes and I went to the town to get them after I paid and while I was going on the train there was a disconnect. Neither of us had the bushes. They just disappeared. I got a refund, but sent some bells back to the person since it wasn't their fault and neither of us still had the bushes.

I see all this occurred before I even got up this morning! I know too that xiaoniu and the Pennifer are both very kind and honest people. I'm so happy that this has been at least somewhat resolved.

I've also learned thanks to the last few posts to now save before leaving or letting someone else leave my town during a trade.

I want you to know that I can do this without really hurting because I have plenty of bells. We can both feel good about this unfortunate occurrence
What I think we should do is this:
You set up your retail and put for sale five items (like shells off the beach, an ordinary flower or piece of fruit) and price them each at 999,999 except for one at 500K
I will come to your town and go to your Retail and purchase them. I will have to run to the bank once or twice, but hopefully we will have no errors! It is fine if you want to video it ... I always wanted to be a star. And, I think the suggestion by Tina is excellent! Before I leave we can save so there will be no more glitches!
Will wait for you to come back on then!

It's an unfortunate situation but I'm really glad you guys are working it out maturely.
I've traded with Penny and I'm 95% sure xiaonu visited me while I was working on my train station upgrade.
This forum is very supportive and a nice closeknit community.

Big plus: I'm aware of a new glitch D: I'll surely be saving after every trade c:

oops my gate should be open now. I accidentally clicked the wrong option. my items are scattered in random spots in retail, hope that doesnt seem confusing. Some villagers had their stuff hogging the spots

didn't get a chance to read all the posts but it's happened to me before
where the host has everything saved (i.e. their new bell count reflects it as if they've already paid) and where i didn't get the amount. i think it was an error on my part and just plain bad luck since i happened to disconnect as i left
