I missed you all! Thanks to everyone who was kind enough to check in with me and send me encouragement. My mother is battling pretty aggressive dementia and since I am her full time caregiver, it is A LOT of work. Doctors, therapists, medicationsand so on.
But things are beginning to settle down into a manageable rythmn, so I have some time to get back to my favorite site and my favorite people!
Okay, so I now have FOUR towns of my own:
Cocoplum (otherwise known as Big Bear Village)
Corvidae (name is from the genus of the raven, blackbird families)
Shika (means deer in Japanese and as the name implies, is populated by all deer)
Misfit (newest town full of lots of villagers people usually don't want)
I have been totally reinventing Cocoplum! I am removing all the fairytale pwp's and replacing them with the woodsy pwp's. Currently, the villagers are Grizzly, Teddy, Pinky, Paula, Pudge, Stitches, Carmen, Merry and Ankha. Carmen, Merry and Ankha are non negotiable forever members.
Corvidae is still very much a wip. I still haven't a clue what to do with it, lol. The map is beautiful, the perfect fruit are cherries and I have fantastic villagers: Pancetti, Agnes, Moe, Del, Scoot, Ruby (my heart), Portia, Pietro and Chrissy. I am planning to fill the empty slot with Rod, the jock mouse. And once Chrissy leaves, I will have space for a normal villager. But yeah, no ideas where I am going with it.
Shika is sublime! Holly starts, perfect apples and one of the coolest town hall set ups ever! I placed the black cubes on either side and laid down a wood pattern with black roses around the fountain. The deer villagers are beyound awesome, every one of them! I am still waiting for them to request more pwp's. They are being very slow about it.
Misfit is also coming along great! I chose a map with what is almost like a tiny island of land. There is a thin strip connecting it to the rest of town. I built my house there! The only villager I knew I wanted was Shep. And of course, the next day SHEP plots right next to my house. I hadn't even known he was moving in. He just showed up as the random villagers began plotting. How crazy is that? I mean what are the chances? My assortment of villagers currently include Shep, Benedict, Cole, Cousteau, Naomi, Beau, Midge, Coco and Julian. Beau and Midge will be leaving and then it's anyones guess who will show up next.
So, fill me in on what I have missed! How are your towns coming along? Did anyone get new games for Christmas and start new towns? Have you changed things up, moved anyone around? Or just tell me how you have been! If you have read this entire post, HUGS!!
