Unwanted villagers wont leave

I have villagers I don't want as I'm sure you can guess. I've been TTing to get them out but all my villagers who I don't want refuse to ping. I've literally not talked to these few for WEEKS and they'll be happily fishing, sitting under a tree, singing, etc... Meanwhile, Bob, my main man, who I talk to daily and gift things, has the AUDACITY to have a thought bubble. It's like NO NOT YOU!!!! lol. I know its a random thing but come one. Diva, Al, please... I beg...leave.

Pretty sure it's completely random. I don't think it has anything to do with if you've talked to them recently/a lot. It's frustrating sometimes.

I get so frustrated with this too, almost no one ever leaves. I still have my two starters with me

I had to do the tt to get everyone out for a few people, luckily people are patient on this forum cause the one villager they wanted wasn't pondering any bubbles it was my other 9 villagers. It took forever to get Diana out 2 weeks real time, happy she's gone her exterior was bugged so don't tt if you adopt via campsite. This is the most tedious method of all time...i may have to do it once more for monday.

If i'm totally focused it can take anywhere from 3-5 hours real time.

this is me with goose. i time traveled a bit to get him out, finally had him with thought bubbles and thought i had done it and he was leaving. no, turns out he wants to call me "rambler" like my beloved diva does..... thanks a lot for getting my hopes up, game.

i hope you get them out, it sure is an annoying process!
