Splatoon Unplayable glitch in Splatoon, help?

Don't really know where else to post this, so...

Everytime I try to play online in splatoon I get an "Unable to connect to partners device" error. (Error Code 118-0516)
It happened a few weeks ago, and everything else online works fine, I can go to the shops.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Is it every time you try to enter a match? This can happen at irregular times whenever your network's router cannot connect to one of the member's of that session's router settings.

I have gotten that error before. Perhaps the host had a bad connection and that prevented you from entering the room. I usually just join another room and it works fine.

I've seen this error a few times, but it never persists. Is it still preventing you from joining other matches?
