I time traveled a bit too far and put him in boxes, though I'm not too broken up because Marshal isn't one of my dreamies, just someone I took to have a smug. I really, really don't want to dump him out into the void. Please, someone take this cute little guy!

Sorry guys, I try to always give to the first poster unless they officially give up. And I'm trying to follow that even more in this case because I feel super bad since I tried giving him to someone on Reddit but they gave up due to frustrations over technical difficulties.

Hitting them won't help you unfortunately if you're tting it shouldn't take long to move somebody out, either go two days forward and back or 4 forward and back while checking for movers. You should be able to get your whole town to ping at least once within a couple of hours

I'm going to set it at 8 PM MDT (UTC -7). Or in other words, 4 hours from now. That way, I'll still have time if you don't get room by then to give him to someone else, then get to bed at a decent time to go shopping tomorrow.
