Unlocking Stationary

So someone in a facebook Animal Crossing group was asking for Jack and Nook stationary. I thought it wasn't possible to get but then someone came along saying if you send a lot of letters you can unlock the special stationary and they claim to have the snowmans stationary. I wanted to ask her to find out if this is TRUE, and true for New leaf, or only true for a past game. Or if this guys full of baloney and making it all up. xP

I would think you can't do that. Mainly because I don't know of any way to get the paper.

I claim to have all 5 unorderable stationary. You can get them in the mail from villagers but it's very rare.

yep like faerie said you get them randomly from villagers, and it's veeery rare and not unlockable or anything
since I got the game, on 3 different characters only ONCE has a villager (marina lol) sent me rare stationary! she just sent me a letter saying she hoped I would write back to her on the stationary she sent, and when I looked it was a post office paper!

really? I get those kinds of letters all the time, but I never noticed if the paper was special...I really should pay more attention to my mail...

^yea I usually dont pay attention to what paper they give me either, but luckily that one time I did haha
I usually do use the stationary they send me though so I prob would've realized then anyway!!

A few months back, Someone invited me to their town so I could catalog all those papers.They each had 4 sheets like the ones you buy from Timmy and Tommy.I'm not sure how he got them but it seems there must be a way to get them.
