Unlocking PWPs

Other than the wet suit "trick," what's the best way to get villagers to suggest PWPs?

It seems a bit odd but I get a lot of PWP requests when I'm developing/redeveloping a town and building the PWPs that have already been requested.I started working on one of my towns about two weeks ago and my villagers have requested eight or nine PWPs during that time.I only received two or three requests in the months leading up to my town's redevelopment.

I personally am not a fan of the wet suit trick mainly because it seems the villagers ?know? what I?m doing and they usually refuse to help!

All of my PWPs come from:

- walking around town
- moving flowers
- planting trees
- planting bushes
- laying down paths

I start out my day walking around town at 11 am - gives all villager types a chance to wake up. If any have the moving ping they likely will do so right away. If not then it?s time to move around town.

Remember only one PWPcan be requested per day. Good luck!

I think just plain, old fashioned game playing is the best way to get villagers to suggest pwp's. Honestly, I don't think there's a magic trick to it. I do find though that the more I build them, the more get suggested.

Personally I feel like the suggestions come in some kind of waves. Like sometimes I’d play for weeks and nothing’s happens. Then, all of a sudden I get suggestions 3 days in a row. Followed by a few weeks without any again.
It can be so frustrating if you don’t want to built any of the suggestions but wait for a different one they didn’t ask you to build yet...

Honestly, the best way to do it is to just walk around, I've tried the wetsuit trick and am not a big fan of it, sometimes it works straight away, other times i could be going back n forth between the town and the ocean for hours with 0 results.
They always seem to request when you're doing something/ not actively waiting for the ping so I guess the trick is patience.
