There's been an agreement between Nintendo and O2 to offer 3DS gamers access to the O2 Wifi service

Not sure if anyone knew, but it's nice to know that out and about we can connect up and play. (And not just in McDonalds who've had Wifi for a while I think haha!)

EDIT: O2 have an app that tells you the local O2 Wifi hotspots, so maybe worth downloading that before you go out and about, I have it on my phone (Android), iOS should have it too though!

Oh wait... So am I. I thought it was a 3DS thing rather than an O2 thing. I.e it works with all 3DS's regardless.

Don't you have to be on O2 to be able to log onto the network? I may be wrong.

Don't think so as the 3DS doesn't work on a network basis. How I understood it was you could connect at an O2 hotspot with your 3DS when in range. If the arrangement is with Nintendo and O2 then Nintendo will be paying for us to use it for promotion.

Ah I see. *dumb moment* xD Thats really cool! Good thinking on Nintendo's part.
(Although I'm too scared to take my 3DS outside. lol.)
