Uhm.. what?

So, I got Ankha from another town yesterday. The same day I got her, I got Lucky as well. I skipped a day ahead and figured I'd get Ankha before Lucky.
I got Lucky's plot instead.
Broccolo asked to move that same day, and I figured she wouldn't be in until after that.
I skipped two days ahead of when Broccolo moved out, and instead of Ankha, I got Hans. :/

Is there a reason for this? Yes it was confirmed she would come to my town, yes the save and the train trip went through. Should I just get another Ankha? Or could I even get her again?

Any help would be appreciated, since I have no idea how or why this happened, and I'd really love for her to move in. :/

If you asked them both on the same day, the one you asked second will overtake the first and cancel them out. So because you asked Lucky before moving ankha in, he would have cancelled out her move

Yeah just if you're going to get 2 in the same day again, move the first one in before going to get the next and then you can get them both. You can still go and get her again now though since she didn't move in

Wow, I never knew that! I always assumed you could only invite one villager in a day. I am sorry Ankha got cancelled out. That is a total bummer. Thank you for the post. I now have learned something new. Good luck on getting Ankha. I moved her and Lucky next door to one another in one of my towns and it's super cute.
