uh-oh- Did I do something wrong? Please help!!

SO I just spent like 2 hours at the island, bought a wetsuit, and the lady said "it was in the box" but then the game saved and the wet suit is not in the island box. What did I do wrong?

Are you sure you checked the basket near the dock? (If you are back in town). If you are still on the island it should have gone into the box near the entrance and the desk.
