Ugliest series set?

I had fun with the balloon hat, but I think it's otherwise definitely one of the ugliest. And as a lot of others mentioned, the Lovely series is just...no. If it were pale pink, I could stand it better, but a room that looks like it got hearts and bright magenta thrown up all over it is just not appealing to me. I actually have the alpine series in my house and the only thing I don't like about it is the flooring. It just doesn't really mesh with the rest of it...

The balloon series ew

I agree 100%! I remember in Wide World and City Folk, hitting balloons and getting the prizes from ballons was so exciting, but I literally had no motivation to get a slingshot in City Folk. I just got one about a week ago for Bunny Day, but balloons in New Leaf seem pointless to hit because the balloon set is just so ugly, and you can't even sell it for many bells!

balloon, green, blue, and gracie.
I kinda like pave if it's just a few of the pieces; the entire thing together just looks........myeh

Lovely

(?_?)

Pave could've had so much potential to be colorful and beautiful. Instead, it looks like a the paper crafts you'd find draped in a kindergarten classroom dyed blue...

I don't care for the Kiddie, Striped, or Polkadots series. They do have potential when customized, but the normal colors just aren't appealing to me.

I specifically dislike the Golden series. It's just too bright and takes too much effort to collect all the pieces. If I were to spend that much time/money into a set, I would be rather disappointed.

When it comes to the Balloon series, I'm on the fence. The colors are pretty bright and obnoxious but the set has potential.

My least favorites are the Princess, Mermaid, Lovely, Robo, Balloon and Harvest series.
The princess series should have a different color, it's just too bright for my eyes. The Carpet and Wallpaper are the only parts from this series that look bad.
The Mermaid, Lovely, Robo, Balloon and Harvest series are just eyesores.

The Gracie set is just really busy on the eyes and don't even get me started on Nintendo ballrooms.

My temporary living room is the pave set, and it's quite dreary. I like a few specific pieces though, so I'm looking to see if I can integrate those with maybe the golden cabana set. Maybe it'll look good. Maybe not. We'll see. I also kind like a few Balloon pieces, but the whole set together is a bit much for me. I have a blue balloon dog lamp drinking out a toilet and it looks pretty good.

The Gracie series is horrendous! I won't even dignify its existence by buying it tbh.

The Nintendo items are the worst!! It's fine if you have them spread out, maybe 1 or 2 a room, but I streetpass people at college and that's all they have in some rooms!! It's very annoying. Also, the balloon set. I was very excited to hear that the balloons carries furniture, but then I hit them and they only held balloon furniture and better slingshots.

I know it's not a set, but the illusion floor/wallpaper is very ugly and it seems like it's the only item I can get. What's worse is that they come off as the only white floor I've found.

Definitely the balloon set...
I can't stand that stuff, it's so visually unappealing...

I also can't stand the gorgeous set.
I don't know, it looks like stuff from a crappy hotel...

I have to say as someone who loves cards and card-themed things, I'm really disappointed with the Card Set. The only thing I like is the carpet. Everything else just hurts to look at.

Definitely the balloon series. Cabana is a close second, but I live in a tropical area and I'm sick of the island-y aesthetic in general so I have a bias.

Nintendo set.

I already played enough super mario and such I dont need to see it in Animal crossing x_x
Creativity wise, everything else seems decent.

Stripe set is hideous. It almost makes me angry.

Sleek, robo, and egg series look completely unacceptable, but not as bad as stripe

I loathe the balloon set and the lovely set, especially the lovely set because it makes my eyes burn.

I also dislike the egg set, Pave set, or the kiddie set, though I worked in a daycare with screaming toddlers for two years, so I'm probably biased when it comes to the kiddie set.
