Uchi invasion!

So I was plot resetting for my 9th villager last night for about 2 hours straight. I had a plot show up pretty much 95% of the time and what I noticed was that they were ALL uchi villagers. Every single one of them. Paula, Frita and Fuschia seem really keen on moving in since I saw their plots the most, but knowing that my plots are on an uchi spree, I'm feeling super confident about finally getting my beloved Muffy.

Has this happened to anyone else? Is this something that usually happens? I mean I know my town is lacking an uchi, so does the game realise this and sometimes just constantly give you the personality you're missing? I'm looking forward to plot resetting some more when I get home later because of this. Come ooooon Muffy!

Ya, you can be locked into getting a certain personality if it's the only one you're missing (and I think the last villager to move out has to not have had that personality). Good thing you're looking for an uchi!

I am so happy to hear that! This means I can most likely get Muffy at some point today! I didn't realise until now that I do have at least one of each personality already to be in "uchi lock". Thanks for the info! :3

Since it's a new town it's normal.
The game tries real hard to give you an uchi in the beginning.

Ah, I didn't mean a complete new town, sorry. xD I had Muffy in my previous town before I reset about 3 months ago to my current one! I've been hoping to see her again ever since. :3

Same thing happened to me when I was plot resseting, I had not had any Uchi villagers for a while (I really dislike them...), and Sylvia's plot kept coming! I was so annoyed... I thought I was going to go crazy, she appeared like 20 times xD And come on, she is not the only Uchi! Anyway. Glad to see I'm not the only one having an Uchi invasion ^^

Well, all the dedicated plot resetting and the "uchi lock" finally got me Muffy in a great spot. I'm so happy now! This "personality lock" thing will definitely come in handy in future!

Uchis are pretty cool, if you can't find Muffy go for Frita, but I think the Uchi-Lock thing is definitely the case!
