Two villagers move in on the same day?

A few days ago I was surprised to find out that Dora AND Agent S. both moved in on the same day!

Is that normal?

Rare occasion, but possible. Usually just one person moves out one by one to avoid ruining the cycle. But if you're in the middle of a 16-villager cycle, then that's just pure luck for you.

I just started playing, a little more than a week. I started out with three villagers and now I'm at eight. Is 8 the maximum?

Ten is the maximum They move in really quick in at the start, so it's pretty normal
