Two villagers in boxes??!!

So I have two villagers in boxes on my island which I was pretty sure was impossible? Tybalt asked me if he could move out yesterday and is in boxes today. I also got a random camper today and I decided to have them move in which meant that Rocket was kicked out. Both Rocket and Tybalt are in boxes and I’m not sure if they will be glitched now. I’m quite worried as I did not do this through amino cards and I am sure this is not meant to be possible.

It will work out just fine. I had one villager coming in (in boxes) and one villager going out (in boxes) on the same day and even had someone come pick up the outgoing villager that day and it all worked out fine. Due to some known existing issues with time travel, I would recommend avoiding it until all of your plots stabilize.

No worries. This happened to me. Tybalt will leave an empty plot while Rocket will be replaced by the campsite villager.

Okay, thanks for the reassurance! I will be sure to post the outcome of this and I have no plans to time travel so hopefully everything will be okay!

No glitched plots in sight! Rocket has moved out and her plot has been sold to the camper, Piper. As well as this, Tybalt’s plot was empty and I used nook mile tickets and sold his plot to Whitney! There seem to be no issues so it seems as though having two villagers in boxes is actually entirely possible and should hopefully not lead to any glitched plots !
