two nl copies?

so my brother bought me another nl copy and
i was wondering how do I set it up so I can safely
play both games? Do I need 2 SD cards or can I
burn one copy and keep the other as a physical copy?

The data is stored on your game cartridge I believe but don't hold me to that

Well is your first copy a cartridge or a digital download?
I have 2 cartridge copies and I've played both on one DS and SD card

they're both physical copies, so you just switch
between cartridges with no problem?

I'm slightly confused. Is your first copy a digital copy? Becuase if so my cycling copy is on my digital copy and my main town is on a cartridge and they are always like, in at the same time and they never have problems. 2 SD cards causes the digital copies to corrupt. (Happened to me before.)

2 physical? No problems there, just switch the cartridges. Simple as that, no need for anything else.
