Twenty minutes of saving...

I was on Club Tortimer, decided to do a tour with someone, and now it's been stuck on the "Saving: Do Not Touch Power" screen for 20 minutes. I tried flipping the wi-fi switch, to no avail.

Has this happened to anyone else? What did you do?

No one else is likely to wait, it has probably crashed the game, you'll need to press power button.

Something like that happened to me when I caught a flea off a villager it just crashed and I lost some stuff

Isn't pressing the power button, when it says "Do NOT press it" going to erase your save data? Not sure about this though...

It'll be fine, you won't lose any saved stuff as it saves when you get to island and between tours. If it was saving, it would already have done so ;-) it shouldn't corrupt anything

Another option is letting your 3DS get empty and then turn itself off on its own... At least you didn't press the power button then.

Yep. Doesn't work...

Ok flick the wireless switch on and off a few times if that doesn't work its likely to be the game just turn off and it should be fine chances are you'll see resetti when you next come back on but the game save itself should be fine

Any horror stories like mine? Easily the most nerve-racking thing I've experienced in ACNL.

Yes any game crash experience is nightmare
Especially a game that is surgically attached to yourself like acnl
