I've only ever bought turnips once, and I only bought 50 so I didn't spend that much. I think I'd be too afraid I'd forget and they'd spoil and waste my money.
At the start you forget, but you get used to it.
I leave them in an unfinished room in my house!

I really splashed out on the turnips today, too.
If I get no profit then crap.

Spent over 1.5mil today (filled my locker and pockets). Hoping to sell around Wed/Thurs. That's generally when I see really good prices from other folks (500-600 range only). I try to make 10mil+ a week from turnips.

I haven't gotten the hang of watching the prices on the forums yet, but I've managed to eek small profits by buying in the 1-1.5mil range and using the stalk market wizard on my own town.
