When the town shows one person visiting but then when you try to go, it says it's reached its visitor limit lol. I am so slow T-T

Often when a town is busy the indicator may show an open spot but if someone is already on the way it says the town is full.
The indicator wont change till that person gets into the town.
If the monkey man in the train station tells you there is something wrong it is usually someone has the locker open or is engaged in conversation with someone. No one can come or go from the town if the locker is open or some one is talking to Reese selling turnips. even just looking at your pocket inventory will stop it.

Just curious as to how you get such high turnip prices. My retail has never paid more than 450 for turnips. Is it higher if bell boom ordinance is in effect? Not looking to sell today though.
