turnip spoilage by tt'ing forward?

this has probably been asked before, and if it has, i'm really sorry ; w ;

so let's say i was a few minutes late in buying turnips. i tt back to buy them; thing is, my game is about 6 hours behind compared to real time. would tt'ing a few hours forward spoil the turnips? would there be any difference if i use the 3DS clock, not isabelle's?

while i can make do with the 6 hour difference, i think it's just good to bear the answer in mind. it would be really great to go back to real time though! ; v ;

Tt'ing forward doesn't spoil them but if you tt back it does

I only use the animal crossing clock but most likely it does apply to both clocks

I think it applies to both clocks since when you TT, what's counted is the last time you loaded up the game as your mayor or as a side character. So if there's a save from, say, 5 PM, even if you use the 3DS clock to TT back to 3 PM, it'll count as TTing back because you've already played that time frame going by your save.
