Hello! I'm trying to figure out something but couldn't find an answer.

In my game, it's Saturday. I bought some turnips today, on Saturday, from another island. Tomorrow is Sunday on my island, so will those turnips rot regardless of not technically being a week old? Sorry if it's a stupid question, it's better to be safe than sorry because I'd be losing A LOT of money if they spoil.

Thanks!

Thats a good question. I've never personally been in this position, but I would recommend selling it before Sunday just in case. I have a feeling each individual turnip isnt set to spoil in a weeks time, but that they all spoil on a Sunday.

Edit --

The more I think about, it'd make more sense if they all spoiled on a Sunday rather than a weeks time. Imagine if you bought 3 different batches of turnips from different places at different times. That'd be a pain to keep track of which ones were which.

Okay, so I've googled it and come across some info that may help you.

Usually, your turnips spoil after 1 week has passed or if you change the time through the system settings. However, if you leave your turnips on another player's island and change the time to get the best turnip price, your turnips won't spoil!

Be careful not to hold your turnips too long since they rot 1 week after from purchase them. Make sure you sell them before 10pm on Saturday, since Nook's Cranny closes at that time! Once they're rotten, the price of 100 turnips will automatically drop to 100 bells (1 turnip = 1 bell).

Above quotes are from a website called Gamewith?
