Hi guys!
I bought a second (digital) copy of new leaf hoping that I could cycle it a bit and get lots of penguins. I've been using the animal crossing clock to do it, though I've noticed it isn't really working. I must have gone forwards a MONTH with nobody moving.

I really don't want to use the 3DS clock because I'm worried about messing up my main town, unless there's a way of getting around it?

Any help would be appreciated, I've got some villagers I really want to shift :)

You need to have 9 or 10 villagers before anyone will move out. If you do and still no one has moved out, it's just bad luck. I'd stick to the game clock.

They started moving out pretty quickly when I was cycling Dracvale, I used the 3DS clock then which is why I thought using the in-game clock was different.

OK, thanks guys! I'll just keep going at it.

That happened to me! Talk to villagers once in a while. If they're programmed to say something to you (e.g. haven't seen you for ages) noone will ping you :3

Sorry to interupt, but what do you guys mean by 'ping'? Is it when they get the three blue streaks coming out of their heads and they follow you because they want to talk to you? Because if that's it, they don't always ask to leave when 'ping'ing.

Sort of, but we usually mean the 'ping' they do when they ask to move, not the other random conversation/favor pings.

How do you know if it's them asking to move? I worry about them wanting to talk to me and it's about something else.

Hold nothing in your inventory and even when they "ping" you it wont be much harm too =) perhaps suggesting PWP~

I think your issue might be that your town is too new. There's some hidden requirement before villagers can start moving. My first cycle town I just made and the moment I could save started TTing, and no one tried to move. - I think it's that you need to have a 100% approval rating and 9 villagers, but I've not really checked this.
