So I'm back at the end of december, just did toy day. The only holiday item I haven't gotten is the festive flag so that means tting to get it. I'm ok with that but I don't want to go too far back and risk someone moving. So I was thinking the easiest and safest thing would be to keep switching from the 22nd to the 23rd and back and hope it eventually pops up. I have done this a few times with no luck yet(at least I'm getting required number of fertilizer for the gold shovel quicker). My question is will this cause problems with my game if I keep doing it? Like is there a chance someone will move even though it's only going between two days? Also can this mess up my perfect town rating? Fyi I have keep town beautiful ordinance so no worry of flowers wilting, Thanks

Just keep talking to them.

I've been going between two days, flat out since yesterday! ^_^

Oh ok, I wasn't talking to anyone just run to the store, save, change date, repeat. Dk if this matters but Kidd is supposed to be moving soon , I had Isabelle say he was moving the next day.

it may be too late then to talk to Kidd and save him.

generally if youre going to time travel, you want to talk to villagers every day to make sure nobody is moving out. if a villager pings you about moving out and you tell them no, then you can save and safely time travel as far forward as you want when you reboot and nobody will have moved out in the interim. (time travelling backwards for any length of time only counts as one day for the purposes of the game's randomly deciding if somebody would have moved.) if you go back and forth between the same two days, it adds up in the game's calculations as to how many days have passed and whether a villager may randomly move. there are quite a few guides around the site on time travelling, im sure if you search you can find ore details on how it works

I don't mind about Kidd moving(he's gone now). I was thinking(hoping?) that if I kept bouncing between the 2 days with him scheduled to move that since I wasn't going to him scheduled move date it would keep everyone else from moving.
