TTing is scary. (But sometimes beneficial.)

yesterday, i wwas goin to TT to the last day of april and then to the first of may to try an get interest from the bank but i accidentally set the date to the last day of may
all my paths greww back, chadder movved out, i got bedhead and there wwere bury spots and some wweeds evverywhere
i remembered that the day before i had gotten perfect status so i wwent to isabelle wwho said i maintained perfect status for ovver twwo wweeks and gavve me the golden wwaterin can.
this is really cool but i wwas so scared that marshal or wwhitney might havve movved out
i wwent back to the current date and changed the ordinance to wwealthy so my black roses could wwilt and noww i havve 3 golden roses

long story short, i TTed too far and lost a vvillager (i dont evven like mice vvillagers) and my paths but gained the golden wwaterin can

wwhat TTin accidents did you havve that resulted in somethin good?

Oh wow I am so glad you didnt lose a valuable villager! I have never had a TT accident so far... I am always extra careful.

omg once i lost three villagers in a row and four i wanted to keep and they were all non dreamies and then i was like 'lol' but then pekoe moved out and it wasn't a game anymore

Once you know exactly what you're doing TTing isn't scary at all :u When I stop TTing I start feeling uneasy, since I'm not controlling the pings. I go really paranoid.

I don't really have any TT accidents to speak of, other than accidentally TTing out Bruce the first time I tried TTing. Never liked him anyway

TTing isn't a problem if you don't go backwards from the last time you played your game and only TT forward 1 day at a time. You generally won't lose anyone or get weeds or anything bad if you do this.

last wweek i spent so much time TTin to get all of gracies fashion checks to build t&t

I didn't play since December so I TT'd excessively to get to April lol... nothing bad happened but nothing good happened either, I guess the only time beneficial things happened from TT'ing was completing Gracie's Fashion Checks faster.

I tt bc my 3ds is only available to me once a week, usually, so I can get a week of playing through in a day.

I also tt for things like gracie fashion checks. so far ive had no accident, but I usually only tt one day at a time and all my villagers tell me when someones thinking of moving, & I have the beautiful town ordinance. i have a friend who lost fang by wrecklessly tting, though. she has lolly and merengue, and shes sort of calmed down her tting, but she used to just tt all over the place, from days to weeks to months at a time.

im sort of wreckless myself, as I just talk to a few villagers and feel satisfied if none tell me anyone is thinking of moving. im sure itll bite me in the butt eventually, but its worked so far

TTing actualy gave me nothing but trouble at my past village. Sure I managed to unlock Gracie earlier and got to cover my town with hybdrids and bushes in my first two months, but it was SO not worth losing Marshal, Withney AND Punchy over it. (All of those where of course mistakes on my part for being too careless, but it still made me really sad.)

So Ive decided I wont TT more that just a couple minutes-hours within the same day ever again now that I reset that town.

i TT hours a lot and usually go day by day TTin. sometimes ill go twwo-three days

I was cycling in my town I kept thinking how do people mess this up? I then accidentally went forward one day and reset the month instead of going forward one day to the next month which I meant do. Thankfully I already had told a villager I wanted to leave to move out so no one actually did. I just spoke to that villager again and they asked me if they should move out. For a minute I did panic because I had no idea if anyone I worked so hard to get would have moved out.

I only ever tt to catch up on time. I NEVER go forwards from the real time/date

Only bad happen to me is when i lost bree.

Other than that TT save me from a lot of ugly villagers. Using the village reset trick.

Tedious, but worth it.

In my main town I only TT from day to day. Never ever from week or months. I like to play through the things I have to do each day then TT forward to the next day.
In my second town, I TT two days at a time sometimes just because it's a temp cycle town.
I'd have a panic attack if I'd TT from week to week or month to month.

I second that when not TT-ing it can be a bit scary. haha. there was a rumor yesterday that Julian was going to move out, but he didn't ping me. So I saved and quit meaning to come back and get him to ping, but then I got busy with errands and didn't remember till 4 am this morning at which point I popped out of bed panicked? but Julian was still there and finally pinged me so I could tell him not to leave.
