Last time I had to pass a Gracie check, Beau moved out of my town in the mess of time-traveling all at once to get them done, and a random villager plunked themselves down.

Does anyone have any advice how to get all the checks done by TT-ing, but then also making sure villagers don't move out or in during that time?
It gets kind of confusing for me with the jumps back to 5:58 (which is a new day since you're going back as far as I understand?), then right to 6 a.m for the next check (which is the actual start of a new day)

I TT day by day, going around looking for pings every day, its the best way to TT tbh

I tt like this (don't know if that helps)
I tt a couple days check for a ping, decline it. Now that I have done that, I know I am safe to tt up to 4 days without someone moving. In approx. 4 days someone else pings. Then I repeat. However, it'd probably be safer for you to do it day by day... because I have no idea how long ago someone pinged for you. So, just check often for moving villagers after each check. Be careful, good luck!

The fashion checks make it tricky though, because it's a repeat of the same date for gracie to show, but then I still need to TT back to 5:59 to what I assume the game would count as a day forward (if backwards TT-ing past six = 1 day forward)? and then when it jumps to 6 that makes it another day.

so for example using todays date:
- gracie check at 10 a.m on 1/28
- tt back to 5:59 a.m on 1/28
- 6 am on 1/28 repeats the day for a new check
- repeat until all of them are complete

i'm just confused with the whole process because it's not really a simple day by day jump...or is it and i'm just not seeing the pattern or

What you said confuses me sorry lol I think it is day by day tho... cause backwards = 1 day
I just did this I saw gracie did the check, went back 1 day(check for villagers moving) went forward 1 day, did check(check for villagers moving) and repeat. Is that not day by day???

I always assumed that that time was important? (setting it to 5:59 and waiting for it to turn over)
so it's just going forward one day then back to the day of the check in any direction, not only backwards? :s

I never thought it was important :? I don't know, it'd still be a new day no matter what though. I never fooled with the time I just went forward and back. It worked for me all times I have done it. I'm not sure though, you might want a second opinion.
