TTing and turnips question!

I was wondering, it's Sunday but it's past 12 and I have some turnips...so if I TT backwards a couple hours will that ruin my turnips?

TTing backwards will always ruin your turnips
+ i think TTing forwards is fine with turnips, as long as you don't go passed 6pm on Sundays (or whatever buying time is)

I don't think any sort of TT'ing will work if you have turnips. Joan usually says that any slight amount of TT'ing will spoil them.

What about if I go to a town that has the clock back to say 8 am but my town is 12pm?
