...Though I'm actually TTing back in April right now, but as soon as I'm done, I'll be heading back to late July! ...To nab a late July meteor shower before TTIng to August first! ...To nab THAT meteor shower.
BUT THEN. I will be enjoying fireworks
That'll be... well, probably at least before Sunday.
...I'd play the remake but I have so many memories of the original game it'd feel weird to me. There are some childhood things I like to leave in my childhood, y'know?

I stopped playing some time back in june so that's when my island is currently. I keep meaning to jump to the specific events so i can just jump to the current date but instead i've been playing day by day. I think i'm the opposite type of time traveler haha
I know, I was SO confused when I first played a SoS game and was like... MAN. This feels just like HM
Then again, these days a lot of companies are releasing similar games. So it no longer feels are original as it once did. And I personally enjoy the more inclusive ones a bit more (Stardew Valley is great, I find My Time at Portia to be quite similar and WAY underrated). But FoMT has a very special place in my heart!

Yes and no. I'm only back there RN since I wanted to recreate an old character with a new name and I wanted her move-in date to be "right". So, back to April 11th. And her b-day was April 22nd (I use friends/relatives b-days for side characters to make them easy to remember) so... may as well get the extra b-day item, right? And then Plucky moved out, so I won't be able to TT forward until I find a new neighbor.

In general, I'm usually a couple weeks ahead. I don't like to TT too far since I hate cleaning up the weeds and dealing with villagers who missed me!

Just to add on to it a little, SoS is essentially Harvest Moon but with a different name since Harvest Moon is copyrighted by Natsume. But then the company split and they had to rebrand to SoS hahaha.
Anyway, I was thinking TTing back to April for cherry blossom season for my dream address, but after going back to get all the cherry blossom DIYs, the grass is considerably lighter? Which looks weird at times imo. I think I might just stick to July/August-ish for the lusher scenery.
Yah, I read about the whole deal. It was... confusing. But end takeaway: SoS = HM now.
And, yah, grass colors and such change seasonally, too. I think I'll be saving mine in summer for now. I can always change it later, right? Besides, I've got a bit of work to do before I'm ready to save my Dream Address!
