Hi guys!
I just wanted to see opinions on villager trades!
I don't TT but I know most people who do villager trades are. I feel like it'll probably be easier for TTs to be able to sync up available plots for trades.
Meanwhile if they have to trade with a person who doesn't time travel or two people who don't trade, it might be hard and someone will be left waiting...

What are your guys' thoughts?
Is it worth it to wait and hope they follow through? Do some of you make sure not to trade unless the person TT?

if it's a same day trade where it happens to be that one of us has a villager in boxes and the other has an open plot, then of course. but personally i would never be willing to wait weeks for someone to move out a villager naturally since i know that somebody else who TTs will be selling them too.

I'm personally not going to TT.
Also, with the current villager glitches, I'm a bit wary of villager adoptions at the moment.
I'd rather move them out naturally and go Island hopping to recruit someone I like (or use an amiibo card if necessary).

I'm personally not going to TT so any villager trades I do will probably be on the day I know theyll be in boxes.

Usually if someone is willing to wait for a non TT to get a villager out it is because they are pretty popular, but other than that, people can adopt villagers on the day they are in boxes for anyone as that is usually when the selling thread is made.

I never TT regardless of whatever the situation is. I felt so guilty when I did that in New Leaf to the 3rd/4th day to get Tortimer island because NL start is extremely slow that I had to reset. I won't even TT a few hours forward if it mean I can have Whitney, Judy by kicking a villager out and if it was even given free to me. I won't ever touch my game clock because I pride myself on playing this game the way it was meant to be play according to the standard set by Nintendo and the AC franchise as a whole.

With that said, the last few day on this forum have showed that many people don't have the same style of play as I do, just browsing the new neighbors network alone has shown this.

But OP, you do what best for you. When it come to TT's, it will always be a divisive debate as both side feel strongly one way or the other. With that said not TTing will put you at a massive disvantage especially when it come to trading villagers.
