Hey guys! I know not everyone is into Time Travelling, but I personally have no problems with doing it and I often TT a few hours at a time to go to the island at night/ have shops open etc. But I have never travelled for larger amount of time than that, and I want to.

I do not play acnl religiously anymore - I go for months at a time in between playing since I?m at college and I leave my DS at home. So this is just a long way of saying, if I TT ahead to November so I can catch a couple bugs to complete my encyclopedia, do you think any villagers will move away? When I turned on the game today, Isabelle and many of my villagers commented that I haven?t been here in 3 months, but nothing in my town changed. The same thing happened last time I played, I think there was 6 months in between playing the game and nothing happened to my town.

TLDR: If I TT 7 months ahead in a game that hasn?t had villagers move out due to inactivity in months, will my town be safe?

Get pinged by a villager who says he or she wants to move, request the character stay, then do your time travel jump and you should be fine. Make sure to do the same when you go backwards!

Time traveling 7 months is quite risky so there would be a chance a villager would move out. Maybe you can ask someone that is willing to time travel to that time so you can catch the bugs.

If you deny a moving ping, save and close, you can travel as far as you want/stop playing for as long as you want and no one will move. Don't forget to use the beautiful town ordinance too if you haven't already. :)
If you don't to this step, when you load in November you'll most likely lose one random villager, and at risk it's one you'd like to keep, I suggest to try the method. :)
