Is traveling backwards for multiple days still the same as only traveling back one day?

Let's say you TT back for a month or a year, it will only count as one day. But if let's say you do it multiple times it will count how many times you did it. For example if you TT from April 2017 back to October 2016 then TT another from October to April 2016, it will count as like TT'ing two days forward.
