TT Question

I have what is a most likley dumb question about TTing, but I'm nervious and don't want to mess anything up:

I have Chrome with eight villagers, and I want to TT so I can get my ninth villager. However, I have Lionel in boxes in my first town. If I TT on Chrome, get my villager and turn off the game, and switch the date back to the current one, will my first town be affected at all? I can't let Lionel move, I'm holding him for someone.

No, if you switch back the date before enter that game(the hour doesn't matter) the first town will not be affected, even if they are digital copies

if your town you don't want changed is a physical copy I suggest removing it just to be sure and returning it only once the date is set to the correct one currently.
