TT question regarding villagers in boxes?

If you have a villager in boxes, can you TT the actual time not the date to extend the period that the said villager is in boxes for?

as long as you don't TT forward a day or back a day, then the villager will stay in boxes. so you can keep going from like 1pm to 5pm back to 1pm and they'll stay in boxes. as long as you're still on the same day.

Adding to this, you cannot go back before 6 AM of the current day or go past 6 AM of the next day, because a new day starts at 6 AM, no matter what date you're on.

Alright thanks a bunch for your replies . I have a villager in boxes and waiting for someone to pick them up but I was afraid that I might have to give them to someone else if this didn't work. I can sleep in peace now haha
