Trying to play optimally. Day 4, unlocked Island, first house upgrade, what's next?

I'm finally back in to NL after a few month break. I started over for the umpteenth time hoping to get my "perfect" town this time around. What's next on my list of things to do? I've got the island cleaned up and ready for tonight's haul, I've got flowers breeding, and I'm just waiting for Redd. What else should I do at this point?

Well what?s great about Animal Crossing as you may know is it?s up to you!

Here are a few ideas:

- make a bunch of bells on the island
- donate the first of every bug and fish for the museum
- talk to Blathers every day to unlock the second floor of the museum
- water all your flowers to unlock Leif?s shop
- talk to Mabel every day to unlock the QR machine
- but out Nook?s Cranny to upgrade Timmy and Tommy?s shop
- talk to Isabelle and complete her Introductory dialogue - she?ll give you some foreign fruit!
