Trying to get back into Animal Crossing, help?

So, I'm trying to get bcak into animal crossing, playing at least 5 times a week. I need to decide whether i should restart my town, and some hobbies I can get up to in the game when it feels like a chore to do things, Thanks

Also I have had about a 6 month break because i've been pretty caught up in tomadachi life which is boring now D:
