Trying to get a perfect town

I'm trying to find a balance with my PWPs, trees, and flowers, but is it possible to have too many flowers? I'm at 11 PWPs now so I should be at the minimum requirement (I think), and I have the beautiful ordinance, so no weeds or wilted anything.

you need lots of trees! fruit trees are probably the easiest way to get them!

Talk to Isabelle and see what you need most.

I did and she mentioned that it's still underdeveloped, so I guess only 11 PWPs aren't enough? I'm planting more trees today too. At least I don't have to remove flowers! Thanks.

I've been staying safe and putting down cheaper stuff like metal benches and flower beds (I do have the campsite) because I plan to completely renovate after I get the perfect town status. I think the illuminated ones tend to lower status. Should I just start putting down more expensive ones?

Those are pretty great public work projects. Have you tried a bridge or something expensive (er).

OH I have two bridges!!! I forgot to add them to my list. So that's 13!

sometimes you can actually have too many trees and flowers! i think the perfect #'s for trees are between 100-110 and 75-100 for flowers, with 10-11 "good" PWP projects

I just ran around counting and I'm actually at 90 trees so far. Sounds about right then! More work to do :3

Just wanted to say, it can actually be detrimental to have too many trees, so don't go crazy with planting them.

The ideal number of trees is between 110-200, and having more than that actually causes Isabelle to consider your town "underdeveloped", because for some reason ACNL doesn't have a "too much greenery" message.

I haven't been able to obtain a perfect town, and only recently found out that it's because of my tree count (over 270). I'm not willing to cut any down, so I guess I'm never getting perfect status.

Ye think I read somewhere it was at least 10 PWPs, 75 flowers and 110 fruit and palm trees, less than 10 weeds and items on floor and no trash laying around. Not sure how accurate those numbers are though and if its really only fruit trees that count or also normal ones :/

I'm at 90 trees atm, and I just added about 6 more saplings today, but my flowers are out of control. Perhaps I should pluck a few after all? Hmmm
