Well I have Pietro in my town, I love him but I find it hard because I didn't plot reset for him so he ended up being right next to my campsite which I didn't want anyones house to go near :( Im not sure what to do now. Ive tried planting trees around the camp to block off the house but it's just too close for my liking... I feel like I don't want him because his ruining my layout... What should I do?!

You can either bite the bullet and keep Pietro where he is or you can let him go and find another smug you like just as much(if not better). It all depends on whether you think he's worth keeping enough to make up for the fact that he ruined your town's layout.I'm facing the same problem with Groucho.I like him a lot but I can't build my bridge because his house is in the way.

I think it comes down to how much you love him.

You can also let him move out, cycle through enough villagers, and then try to find a new one. But this will take a long time, especially if you already have 9 other dreamies obtained.

I'm in the same predicament- Marshal (my ultimate dreamie) moved into the worst spot possible. As much as I loathe his house placement, I can't bear to think of letting him go for even a week (although, realistically it would be months), so I try to not dwell on his location.

I agree that it depends on how much you love him and want to keep him. I've seen some dream towns with villagers just a few spaces separating them. I guess they just work around it. You can try doing that... But if it bothers you too much then you can let him move out and cycle through 16 villagers. :|

I kind of have that same problem with Marshal. I plot reset for him but it slipped my mind that he's close to the bridge. x__x

Keep him pls Pietro is a babe ; ;
But honestly though if his placement is too bad to live with you can just let him move out and then cycle 16 and re-adopt him and then plot reset his new house.

I love Pietro, too, and since I've never plot-resetted I have some villagers in horrid places. Thankfully currently not in front of a bridge, but I've had them in front of my house, my Town Hall, and my Station before. Ugh!

But I love Pietro enough that I'd keep him no matter what. He's a sweetie-pie and hard to get. Unless you can find someone to hold him and you do the Cycle, I'd just keep him and maybe try to turn the Camp Site into a kid-like area and make him sort of...compatible? Add the picnic blanket (or make one yourself), maybe add the Tires Bench or Jungle Gym PWP or something to try and make the area better?

I'm sorry that happened, tho.

And I'm sort of sorry that I laughed so hard that I almost snorted Diet Coke out my nose when I saw that pic you took! Lol!

I feel you. Marshal's house is next to my house next to mine and I didn't want anyone near my house, but I got over it after I manage to work around it with my paths and such. If you love Pietro so much like I love Marshal maybe you'll get used to it or then you can cycle 16 villagers and get Pietro again.

That's what I would do, make the area into a play area around the campsite c:

Maybe take a lap around some dream towns and see how they work with cluttered areas?

It's never fun when a villager (especially dream one) moves into an area you wanted vacant, but there's definitely ways to work around it and still make it look lovely. It's wabi-sabi. ❤︎

I hope that's a good smilie face there! I think it's a good idea, considering the circumstances. :D I actually only thought of it because I went over the PWP's I currently have available and when I saw the Tire Bench and Jungle Gym and then read the OP, I thought, why not? It could work!

Pietro happened to plop himself down in an undesired spot in my town as well. After my initial mumbling and grumbling about it, I just learned to live with where he was by replanting and repathing some and he ended up growing on me. I think having him in your town though will outweigh the fact he ended up in a spot you didn't want him in.

i really do love him, but everyones house is perfect but his.... :( I think he needs to go :( my area around my campsite is really small because its in the top right hand corner and there is a rock near it and pietro's house if you imagine is like this
