Trouble receiving items from the Post Office - help!!

Ever since I started my new town, I haven't been able to download any items from the Post Office. Every time I try, Phyllis says, ?I'm sorry... It seems the present isn't being delivered with the access point you're connected to right now. Well, that's how it is. Please come back later and try again." This is what she tells me every single time! I don't understand it cos the access point I'm connected to is the same one I used in my old town ie. my home broadband connection/router. Can anyone tell me why this is happening please?

But the thing is I'm not sure that it's just that there isn't any downloadable content available to download, cos this has happened every time I try for months now. I don't think Phylis always uses the exact words in my OP, but certainly words to that effect anyway.

That is the only reason because you only get DLC through the mail. There are no other items that come through there. It's a very old game now and DLC has long been discontinued, except for some very rare special occasions that Nintendo decides to release them - and even then, not everyone seems to get them anyway. So if you keep asking for items from Phyllis/Pelly, they will continue to say the same thing unfortunately. If you want any of the DLC items, there are many shops on the forums that sell them, so you're better off finding them here, rather than checking in at the post office. They will never give you a single thing.

I only got it early this year and it's a HUGE rip off to find the 'present' option is obsolete! :-/

You can sometimes still get items through a Nintendo zone I've heard, but the older DLC isn't coming back I don't think. You can easily buy the orderable ones on here as was previously said.
