trouble on refurbeshing

I wanna change my lava lamp into red but there was no red on the list then i went for my second option to blue
but the lava lamp was already blue then i select it the 30 min. later it was purple I got so confused. then the first option was red then a select it. But cyrus said that it would return it to its original condition. can you please tell me wich option is really red.

Yeah, im not sure why they didnt just add a preview function, I mean really. There wouldnt be any mixups even with wrong texts.

Half the time I'm just guessing which option I think might look nice/

yes I wish it showed you what it would like like done, kind of like how Isabelle will show you what the completed project will look like...some furniture I have refurbished multiple times just to see what it will look like in different colors because I couldn't find any pics online anywhere
