Traveling back to normal time after getting a new villager

Pls don't @ at me for time traveling, I really wanted this one villager
Anyways, I got my dream villager today by time traveling and I want to time travel back to normal time. Would I lose my new villager if I did this?

If they're already physically in your town, you shouldn't lose them if you travel backwards. It actually just acts like the same day you were on, I believe. Correct me if I'm wrong.

& there is nothing wrong with time traveling???

You should tt a day forward till their out of boxes. To make sure their house doesn’t glitch on the outside.

ok I guess they fixed the bug entirely then! because last time I time travelled back the new villager said "I moved out" and I couldn't do anything about it. also idk some people seemed to be pressed about time traveling so I just wanted to clear that out of the way lmao

There's a glitch where the new villager will have the same exterior as the villager before them and not their own, and it seems to be more likely to happen if you TT backwards during the moving process. So the safest thing to do is to go forward one day at a time until the villager is out of boxes, then go back.
