Transfer

I am about to do a system transfer from my original Japanese 3DS to my Japanese New 3DS. However, I want to make sure that my ACNL town and everything will still be intact after the transfer. Since I have the physical copy of the game, does everything save onto the game card? Or is there a bit on the system/system`s SD card as well? Since the New 3DS uses a Micro SD, I was wondering if that could affect anything?

I have a feeling the data is on the game card, but I wanted to check with anyone here first

Yes, everything saves onto the cartridge, meaning your town will be fine.
