did you TT up one day? i’d also google and see if you need to have your town a certain amount of days old to get the option , that way you’re not paying for visits you don’t need

I have searched and searched and it doesn’t seem like there’s any other requirement other than having 100 people visit you (or one person 100 times) etc. Phineas even came to give me a badge which was the “Good Hostess” so I have been visited at least 59 times but it doesn’t seem I have gotten the full 100 yet because he didn’t give me another badge nor is Porter prompting me......

(I have read nowhere anything about having to wait a certain amount of time etc.)

yeah that's super weird! i tried googling it and saw like one post where someone seemed to be having the same issue but no one helped so idk :/
when you do TT up try just talking to him anyway even if he doesnt look any diff. other than that the only thing I can think is if you town is brand new (which it looks like it was?) then that might be the problem.

Sit at your town tree. At the very end of your town's history, it will show you the number of visitors.

Well I must obviously have enough visits by now so it has to be something else I guess...

Maybe I will just keep putting hours into it tonight.

Great news..... And I’m posting this in case anyone needs this in the future.

Porter prompted me finally!!!! Only AFTER I completed a PWP. I made a bridge, paid for it, tted and VOILA. He promoted me.

I’m so dang excited. I knew I had well over 100 visits and time played didn’t matter. Thank you everyone for your help and concern. I will be closing this soon
