If it helps, maybe VISITS to your town. What I mean is that it can be the same person visiting 100 times if they are willing to do so -_- Obviously not lol.

Yeah, I have the same problem with me haha. It's sometimes good to just lay back and have your gates open. It's something I'm trying to do now.

That's not bad if you can trust everyone left on your friends list.. I've had people steal hybrids and cut all my trees. So I'm not really a fan of leaving my gate open. :/

I haven't had any problems like that happen to me yet in New Leaf. It did happen quite a bit to me in City Folk and Wild World, though.

I haven't visited anyone's town yet and no one has visited me, I'm still trying to organise my town and make it look pretty.
I am only gonna let people I know and trust into my town at first.
