Gardening help. I am wanting people to come to my town and help me decorate my town with flowers and trees etc. I have plenty of flowers and fruit for trees, I would just like some help, as I am not sure the best way to be planting flowers to get new ones grow and where to put them along with the trees. I am trying to get a perfect town so any help will be apprechiatedl
I am willing to pay 10,000 - 20,000 bells each or trade for a any items that I have.
Flowers: Flowers will grow anywhere in town. If you have the beautiful ordinance in place, that will increase the amount of flowers that your villagers plant around town. It will also ensure that your flowers never wilt. The best way to grow more flowers is to put all the same types together. Eg, roses with roses, violets with violets, etc. Fertilizer (it can only be found if you have T&T Emporium) will also increase the chance of more flowers growing around that area.
Trees: Trees will only grow if they are at least two spaces away from everything (other trees, buildings, houses, Public works projects etc.). The best way to determine if they have two spaces from everything around them is to place a pattern on the ground away from whatever you're planting the tree nearest to. Once you've placed two squares down, plant your sapling right next to it. It's a tried and tested way to make sure your tree grows.

I think the best way to get new flowers to grow is to put two of the same kind of flowers side by side with nothing else around them (like a rose next to a rose; also you could do different rose combos like a white rose and pink rose, just as long as they are the same flower!) //but hey i'm no expert.. yet!
