I am working on a Zen forest town with a modern flair. You know, sort of my take on how I imagine modern day Japanese folk would live in the country. There is also a book theme as the town name, Tsundoku, means "book pile", and my mayor's house will be crammed full of books. I am just building whatever makes me happy, honestly, that is Japan and books.
wait, I just re-read the title and it says themes and I thought it was town tune for some reason?? now I'm so confused. oof.
I don't really have a theme. My town's name is Pastel and when I thought of it I was thinking about how in NL your town is basically your canvas, so there's that. It's my artwork and in addition I love pastel colors so my name has a sort-of unintentional double meaning.
my town doesn't have a theme, just going with the flow. Honestly I want to reset cause of the name I chose but I'm too far into the game do that won't be a good idea lol
Lilac is a fairy-tale themed town, or it will be once my dang villagers actually suggest the pwps I want smh
Dyrne is gonna be a modern city set back in the 1950s, inspired by film noir movies and slightly by Bendy and the Ink Machine
My main town is a Rainbow Bridge-inspired memorial town for my bunny. I also have one I'm basing off of Derry from IT, Gilead from The Dark Tower, and a Winter town based off of Shiveria from Super Mario Odyssey.
Salem is loosely based on The Enchanted Village of Salem from the Wishcraft Mysteries books. It has a bit of a fairy tale/whimsical feel. It's also themed as the town and house I'd want to live in, if AC was real. My mayor is the only human living there.
Hollowyn (which is on hiatus until I get my 3DS up and running again for the update) is more of a woodsy town. This town does have a full human population; the mayor's house is a cabin in the trees, but the other characters have themed houses - an art gallery/craft store, a bookstore/caf?, and a school of magic (a bit more "real world" than Hollywood). The characters are all named for gems or minerals - Mayor Emerald, gallery owner Sapphire, bookstore owner Flint, and school headmaster Stone.
Absolutely LOVE Gravity Falls. Your theme sounds really cool!
I'm not very creative, no theme. Sort of just going with the flow, whatever fits.
Just started looking at paths and already my eyes are like @_@
