Town Theme?

I'm thinking of getting another copy of the game and creating a theme town. It doesn't need to be a movie or a book but I want the entire town to have a theme.

What I'm asking is could people list some movies, books, places, eras, etc. where I could get a theme?

I've considered basing it off of Once Upon A Time (My favourite tv show) But decided it would be too complicated. I've also considered Ancient Egypt but decided I didn't want to go in that direction.

The other theme I had considered was Narnia but I figured that may be very complicated to uphold.

Any suggestions would be gladly appreciated

Hmm, maybe Pokemon? they seem pretty easy to theme considering there is only one person you'd really need, the trainer.

You could do a Victorian era? or even the 20's? like great gatsby 20's? the 20's have pretty cool fashion, you could even make the house look all art deco like and include PWPS like the illuminated heart, arch etc. You could even do the 50s like rock and roll era with the town just entirely black and white. You could even create a bar or a casino for the 20's theme? Not sure how i'd work though if you wish to include fairytale items.

I think Alice in Wonderland would be so suited, esp if you can get the right villagers. Cheshire cat, doormouse, rabbit, march hare, etc etc.

I'd love to do a Miyazaki/totoro themed town, I'm sure it's been done.

Kingdom Hearts would be cool, or maybe a star trek or star wars themed town. Or I had the idea for a circus or superhero themed town but I decided against it.

I made "Do It For Her/Him" my town tune (from Steven Universe).
My town is going to be fairy tale themed

I did a once upon a time themed town once. It was hard and I never finished it but it was fun! I had dif portal lands in dif areas but the Storybrk portion was at the top. Also added a wonderland area, oz area and never land area.

SHUT UP THAT'S AWESOME. I was actually considering making an Adventure Time house, maybe Finn & Jake's treehouse! Do you have any screenshots of your town? Or a dream address? I'm dying to see the Nightosphere!

This actually made me think of doing a Bioshock/Rapture town, or even Columbia. HMMM...

Another idea is, of course, Miyazaki films - the bath house from Spirited Away, the bakery from Kiki's Delivery Service...My Mayor Totoro? lol.

I love those ideas. I would love to see the Adventure time town that sounds amazing.

Some ideas I love are spooky towns, Alice in Wonderland, forest fairy tale (kind of like once upon a time?? snow white in the forest with a few deer villagers)

What about a rainforest town? You could fill it with trees, flowers, shrubs, and rainforest type villagers like frogs, monkeys, and bears, and cats.
