Town Theme Ideas?

One i think would be really cute is a modern tokyo theme.. you could use the modern PWP's and the tokyo tower, and you could look at some road themed paths, and you could have a rural area with bamboo and dirt paths, and possibly a zen garden area, and you could save your dream town during cherry blossom season, i think that would be so pretty

I like ChooChooMuffin's idea where they have different areas in their town. And if you want to be super creative, you can make a story for each part. I'm not sure how that'd work but it'd be cool to see.

I know that you want your town to have a singular theme but it doesn't really have to. Instead of worrying about a theme for your town, why don't you just go with the flow? Don't worry about what public works projects fit your theme and don't. If you want to have a few zen projects with a few cutesy ones, why don't you? I feel that would relieve the stress that you're having right now. And once your done, I'm sure you'll be happy with it.

Why not combine winter and sweets? A gingerbread town! The biggest problem might be that you have the same (fairy-tale) PWPs as your main town as you might find in a sweet town.
