town theme help

hi! i'm trying to make a pirate themed town, but i'm already having trouble deciding which villagers to pick. so far, i have these guys who i'll be including for sure:

• vic
• rod
• rasher

i'm also highly considering ganon but i'm not certain. does anyone have any villager suggestions for this town, especially females? i'd appreciate it

One of the octopus villagers would be cool for this theme, maybe Octavian or maybe Marina if you needed more female villagers? Keaton would be good as he looks very exotic and like a parrot a pirate would have, and Beardo looks like a pirate himself with his facial hair. As for more girls, maybe bring in a female alligator like Alli or Gayle? Good luck with your town! ^_^

thank you both for these suggestions!! i'd actually thought of the octopus villagers a little earlier myself too and they do make sense bc sea creatures, and bella because she just has this? certain look to her lol?? not sure how to describe it but she looks tough i guess, like in a weird way she'd fit right in. and an eagle villager as a pirate's parrot is a great idea!!! so now, we have:

• vic
• rod
• rasher
• keaton
• bella
• marina

and a maybe to:

• ganon *already have 2 crankys
• octavian *same reason as ganon
• hazel
• amelia
• any/a few of the alligator villagers
• punchy
• curt
• spike?? but he's yet another cranky

I like your idea of a pirate town! I kinda feel like Drago would fit in. He looks like he could be a character in One Piece haha. Maybe a monkey villager would fit in too like Deli.

agreed lol, i've officially decided to include alli as an alligator villager, mainly because she has a different personality type than both marina and bella. anyways i appreciate everyone's suggestions tysm - i still need a bit more help though. here is the new picked villager list i have:

• vic (bull, cranky)
• rasher (pig, cranky)
• rod (mouse, jock)
• keaton (eagle, smug)
• bella (mouse, peppy)
• marina (octopus, normal)
• alli (alligator, snooty)

i'm trying to include at least one villager of each personality type, which leaves an uchi + lazy spot open. i can't seem to decide between these uchi villagers: hazel, cherry, canberra, pashmina and these lazy villagers: drago, alfonso. i'm also considering boots too, but rod's currently my jock so probably not. :/ and as for the 10th villager, i'm either going to pick octavian, ganon or spike.

i'm so indecisive, i may have to make polls about it lmao
