Town Reset or Corrupted?

I opened up my game this morning after charging it with a different charging cord and I don't understand but somehow my town won't show up. It was on a physical copy and I tried to take it out and put it back, to re-format my device, but it won't come back, it just keeps showing the screen without my town where I can choose to save a new file but not continue...? Does anyone know what to do or what happened? Please tell me there's a way to fix this. I'd saved millions of bells and had all my golden tools and pretty hair pieces

There actually a way to fix corrupt towns, but it requires using an application on hack exploit called Homebrew. Just throwing that suggestion. However, in order to access homebrew would cost you around the same amount as buying a game. I don't think I can explain much about it on this site, but I'm just throwing that suggestion for you.
