Town Problems: What Should I do? :(

So, my dream villager just moved in. Right smack-dab in front of my house; you can't even see my house. What should I do? In the future I should definitely plot-reset/put a PWP there I know but I can't believe this happened. What should I do?

Yes. Unless you start up with a new character, the instant you load up your mayors save file everything is set in stone.

Could always 16 cycle for them and get them in a better spot, but if that's too much work they're gonna be there forever. I know the feeling of having villagers put their houses where you don't want them to. You can try and work around it though.

heres my method for villagers that move into tthe wrong place, it works all the time :

There isn't much you can do. I had a villager plot right in front of the house of one of my side characters, though it wasn't as bad as what you're describing since my character's house is still visible. You can just deal with it somehow, or you can move out that villager and cycle through 16 and plot reset the next time you get them back.

Personally, I'd just put up with it. If it's a villager you really like, it's probably worth it, and you could try to make the most out of it by decorating the area around your houses.

Thanks for the suggestions ^^ I think I'll end up cycling 16 xD I guess I learned my lesson!

My favorite character is not my mayor. I play all the time as a side character and load my mayor up to get the PWPs and say hi to the common villagers. If you can't face the cycling, you could use it as an opportunity to play as another character and develop another personality and home in your town. But if they planted in from of *my* house, I'd move em out

I wish villagers would move in even sillier places, like in front of the train tracks.

Actually, the right way to deal with it is try to find away around the problem. If it destroys parts of paths, move the paths.
