its basically mafia v. town.
theres regular townies like vigilante, medium, and escort, special townies like jailor and mayor, regular mafia like consort, blackmailer, and consigliere, special mafia being godfather, and neutrals like jester, serial killer, and witch.
it's really great and there's different game modes. people usually play custom, where the host picks 15 roles (usually 3 maf, 1 being gf, 1 jailor, 2 town killings, 2 town protectives, a support, a sk, maybe arso, maybe jester, and sometimes 1 any). ive yet to play classic for myself, but all classic roles have to specific, where the host puts in mayor, vig, consort, etc. people like the vague factor of having a town protective (for example) because that person could be bodyguard or doctor.

you can customise your character and house and earn $$$ by getting achievements, like daily first win of the day, remember that you are an amnesiac (if youre an amnesiac, and you pick a role to remember from the graveyard that's non-special).

I played it before and it was fun. It made me stay up until 3AM (lame, I know) one night. I especially love trolling, and winning as the lone witch in a Vigilante game <3

I don't play it as much now though. :c

that's not lame at all haha. that's happened to me before. it's addicting and you want to just keep playing. i havent payed it in a while but everytime i do, i feel sick.

I just joined Town of Salem today, won a few games too. It was my first time playing myself but I've seen youtubers play it so I had a general idea of what was going on and I did pretty well. Normally being silent tend to be incriminating but I based a character around it and won as the last witch standing 3 times on the vigilante vs witch game.

A couple people wanted to be my friend too despite most conversations being "..." and *Mary looks guilty* my character is called 'Mute Mary.' I didn't even break character when being lynched *Mary says nothing in her defense* although deathnotes and wills were fair game since being mute doesn't mean you can't write so I often wrote a poem, unless I was killing a copycat Mary, then I'd say "There can be only one!" in my deathnote if I was a vigilante. Seriously a few games in and I see Unmute Mary, Mute Carry, Loud Mary, ect. because they just recognized me after a few games. It was fun, I wasn't sure if I'd like it but I'm glad I joined.

epicmafia is better tho tos is ugly af
