Hm, I don't know if this is 'cute' but I actually like to name my towns something in Japanese. You don't even have to know Japanese to do this, just go to google translate and translate a bunch of cute sounding English words until you get one you like it.
It was a bit easier for me since I speak (not fluent) Japanese, but my main town is Asahi. The prefix Asa means morning, while Hi (sometimes, depending on how it's used, but whatever) means sun. Asahi means morning sun, or sunrise. c:
